Welcome to ROOTS & TIPS. By booking an appointment or receiving services from Tina Ha Tran, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read carefully.
1. Appointments & Booking Policy
Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or in person.
- A valid contact method is required for all bookings.
- Some services may require a deposit to secure your appointment.
- Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable with proper notice (see Cancellation Policy below).
- Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in shortened service time or rescheduling.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We respect your time and ask that you respect ours.
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit.
- No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee and may require full prepayment for future bookings.
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future service.
3. Late Arrival Policy
- Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule.
- If the appointment can still proceed, services may be modified to fit the remaining time while maintaining quality standards.
- Full service fees still apply.
4. Health & Safety
Your safety and comfort are our priority.
- Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, infections, or injuries before your service.
- Services will not be performed on infected, inflamed, or damaged skin or nails.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if a condition may compromise health or safety.
All tools and equipment are sanitized and disinfected according to industry standards.
5. Service Satisfaction & Adjustments
We are committed to excellence.
- If you are unsatisfied with your service, please notify us before leaving the studio.
- Adjustments must be requested within 48 hours of the original appointment.
- Complimentary fixes apply only to workmanship concerns, not changes in preference (e.g., color change, new design request).
6. Pricing & Payments
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Additional fees may apply for length, intricate nail art, embellishments, or specialty products.
- We accept major payment methods including debit, credit, and cash.
All sales are final.
7. Personal Belongings
ROOTS & TIPS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Please keep valuables secured at all times.
8. Gift Cards
- Gift cards are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash.
- Gift cards must be presented at the time of service.
- Expiration dates, if applicable, will be stated at purchase.
9. Conduct & Right to Refuse Service
We are committed to providing a respectful and professional environment.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying:
- Disrespectful behavior
- Harassment
- Inappropriate language
- Unsafe conduct
10. Photography & Media
We may photograph nail work for portfolio, website, and social media purposes. If you prefer not to have your hands photographed, please inform us prior to your service.
11. Modifications to Terms
ROOTS & TIPS reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
